The 18th GCC Supreme Council consultation meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, and the summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asian nations were both warmly welcomed by Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet on Tuesday.
The ministers wished them luck as they worked to advance collaboration and solidarity for the benefit and growth of the two areas.
Ministers also applauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkiye for signing a number of agreements in a variety of fields, as well as Saudi Arabia and Japan for launching the Lighthouse Initiative to collaborate on clean energy. This initiative will act as a beacon for other nations and regions as they work to develop their strategies and plans to reach their net-zero goals.
On Saturday and Monday, respectively, the leaders of Japan and Turkey paid visits to Saudi Arabia and had meetings with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah.
The ministers expressed Saudi Arabia’s desire to strengthen its economic ties with other nations during the weekly Cabinet meeting in Jeddah, which was presided over by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This will be done by energising the public and private sectors and promoting business owner exchange visits.
They also hailed the accomplishments of the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030 roundtable conference, which took place on Sunday, which saw the signature of 26 agreements in crucial economic sectors, as well as the 9 memoranda of understanding signed in a variety of industries as part of the Saudi-Turkish Investment Forum.
The representatives underlined the Kingdom’s commitment to keeping up its efforts in favour of communication, intolerance, moderation, and opposition to extremism.
