Former Check Point vice president of business development Alon Kantor has joined venture capital firm 10D as a partner. He will oversee investments in Israeli businesses in their early stages in a variety of industries, with a particular emphasis on the defense and cyber sectors.

Kantor co-founded Toka, a firm that offered cyber solutions to governments, intelligence services, and other international organizations. Prior to joining Check Point, he led global partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and market penetration strategies. Kantor graduated from Tel Aviv University with degrees in law and computer science.
Over $350 million is managed by 10D, which was founded in 2019, among three funds. In addition to prominent startups Exodigo, Juno Journey, OneStep, and Obligo, the firm has invested in over 20 startups, including unicorns Weka, DriveNets, and Augury. Yahal Zilka, Rotem Eldar, Itay Rand, and Adi Dangot Zukovsky are the other partners in the fund. Prior investments include several more, as well as Waze, WalkMe, Moovit, Appsflyer, Valens, Argus, and Aidoc.

“I’m excited to be joining 10D, and I firmly believe in the Fund’s principles and goal of investing in businesses in either completely untapped markets or industries going through significant change. From the beginning, 10D works closely with its entrepreneurs, offering support and assisting in the accomplishment of important business objectives. “I am thrilled to collaborate with the 10D team,” Kantor remarked.
